Unpacking Services

Copper Palm Moving is proud to offer our clients unpacking services.  No other moving companies in Central Texas will provide these extensive unpacking services we do.  Generally, moving companies unpacking consists of removing contents from boxes and setting them on any horizontal surface available.  Copper Palm Moving can do this if that is all you require but we can provide so much more.  Our complete unpacking service can also include organizing and loading all contents into their new place in the home, breaking down and removing all boxes and packing paper form the residence, hanging your artwork, arranging your accessories (done by our in-house decorator)…and basically setting up the entire home for you!

Unpacking Tips

We recommend that you always set up and make your beds first!  You will be tired from your move day and will want to be able to fall into bed when you are ready.  The Copper Palm team will always make sure your bed skirts are placed on box springs before they leave so you won't have to lift your mattress later.

The kitchen will take the longest, if you can do this room first, you will have won half the battle!

As you unpack boxes, flatten out and stack the packing paper as you unwrap each item.  This accomplishes two things. First, you won’t have huge mountains of packing paper all over the place getting in your way and cluttering your space.  Secondly, any small items that may have been wrapped will be found.

As boxes are unpacked, flatten them and stack them according by size.  If the boxes are in good shape, they can also be resold to box companies such as Eco Box or you can place an ad on Craigslist for someone else to come by and utilize them again.
